JOIN EAST WEST KENPO KARATE...
East West Kenpo Karate offers a Free Lesson to all potential students and there is no pressure to join. We don’t offer free suits or complicated advance payment systems that lock you into a long term agreement. We seek only to ensure that you are happy with the approach we have taken.
Track suit bottoms and T shirts are acceptable in the beginning and we can provide these at a reasonable cost.
Black Karate Suits and T shirts, complete with the Association Dragon and the MALC Crest can also be provided.
Other Protective Equipment is readily available from East West.
You will be asked to complete a questionnaire regarding your background and physical ability. Many people who come to us have previous martial arts experience up to Black Belt Level. Consideration is given to recognising your grade in the Art you have trained in.
Fees are modest in comparison to other styles and we require payment each time you train and before the class commences.
Grade Tests form part of the syllabus and you are required to pay for the test prior to it commencing.
A formal approach to the classes is taken each student bowing upon entering the Dojo (hall). The etiquette of Kenpo Karate will be explained to you over the first few weeks of training. We ask that respect is shown to all, both students and instructors at all times.
Mike Ilderton has been CRB checked and carries insurance to cover all classes. Equally he is an approved Home Office instructor for the BE SAFE programme.
In addition whist we welcome parents. we do ask that they remain seated during the class and refrain from speaking too loudly.
We operate a strict no smoking, drink or drugs policy and any person found to have been drinking and/or under the influence of drugs will be asked to leave the organisation. Foul language and poor behaviour will not be tolerated.
